TII introduced Falcon ASR for speech transcription with a focus on Emirati Arabic. The announcement links a public demo; an API is planned. We have not verified weight availability or Czech, German or Italian support.

Possible use: a newsroom or audio archivist might transcribe regional interviews provisionally and review them with a native speaker. The aim would not be to replace local language knowledge, but to shorten the search for a passage, subtitle correction or interview preparation. Transcription itself is not translation into another language.

Requirements include evaluation on the operator's own recordings, different speakers, noise and meaning-changing errors. Many correct ordinary words can hide a single wrong name or number. Sensitive interviews require clarity about consent, processing location and service terms; a public demo does not establish suitability for confidential data.

Optimistic editorial scenario: once an integration interface and terms are confirmed, a small human-reviewed pilot could be prepared within 1–3 months. This is not a promised API release date. Value should be measured by correction time saved on actual recordings, not merely a position in a general table.
